This Tax & MOT exempt 1979 Kawasaki KZ650D2 SR650 has recently been imported from North America.

This and the fact it's only showing 17446 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks. 

We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike is remarkably original & nearly complete missing just the battery.

It has got a few minor, age related marks here and there but it essentially – very clean!.

BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.

The wheels look straight with nice clean alloy rims, good discs, calipers & working master cylinders. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.

Mudguards are both solid.

Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.

Instruments & switches look good.

Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.

Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint.

Exhausts are original & solid, but r/h silencer is dented at the end.

Seat is in good condition throughout.

Indicators are tidy.

Chain guard is tidy.

Shock absorbers are damping fine.

The engine is cosmetically very clean - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.

e.g. if you live 40 miles away it will cost £80.

Minimum charge £45.

National deliveries start at £195 inc for a standard size motorcycle to most mainland destinations –

Larger bikes or destinations in Scotland, Cornwall or within the M25 area will cost more.
